Australia Post can carry rechargeable lithium batteries only up to 100 Wh, under its conditions. E-bike packs are normally over that limit. Australian stock is pickup by default unless a verified business arranges a suitable dangerous-goods carrier. An overseas listing is not permission to use ordinary post: it must state its origin, delivery terms and import charges and pass review before publication. Check Australia Post’s current rules ↗

Local pickup first
Inspect the actual pack and charger before money changes hands.
NSW approval marks
The battery and charger each need their own safety approval mark.
Damage means stop
Swelling, leaks, burns or case damage rule a pack out.

These controls decide where a listing appears and whether it can go live.

Australian batteries over 100 Wh are pickup by default, and show only to buyers in the seller’s region (set your postcode to see them). A verified business may instead arrange a suitable dangerous-goods carrier.

Overseas-held batteries need a verified business, their real stock country and locality, specialist delivery terms and import-charge disclosure. They stay in review until those details are checked; buyers must still confirm the carrier before paying.
