- East Point Reserve cycle paths with views over Beagle Gulf, Lake Alexander (year-round saltwater swimming), WWII gun turrets and the Darwin Military Museum, and wallabies
- Nightcliff Foreshore along Casuarina Drive, from Sunset Park to the Rapid Creek footbridge, with exercise stations

Before you go
- 13 km is the NT Government's Darwin-to-Casuarina distance. This is a network of paths, not one signed trail. City of Darwin has about 70 km of cycleways and shared paths
- Toilets, BBQs, water bubblers and parking on the Nightcliff Foreshore. Free BBQs, toilets and playgrounds at East Point
- Avoid long rides between 11:00 and 14:00(the heat. Carry water. Pedestrians have right of way on shared paths)
- Secure Bike Pod (lockers and showers) at Dragonfly Carpark, Smith Street,(the CBD)
