Why we built it
Buying a used e-bike shouldn’t be a gamble. On general classifieds you can’t tell how many kilometres a bike has done, how healthy its battery is, or whether it was stolen last week. Shops have no easy way to reach riders looking for exactly what they stock.
So we built a marketplace just for e-bikes, around the things that matter: the numbers, the battery, and the serial.
What’s different
- The numbers up front. Every used e-bike shows its kilometres, battery health and a condition grade measured against a published checklist — not “good condition”.
- The serial is recorded. Sellers record the frame serial and it is checked against the EbikeMate register. A serial reported stolen is stopped before it goes live.
- Shops checked by a person. Dealers and wholesalers are ABN-checked by our team before they get a showroom.
- Battery rules taken seriously. Lithium batteries can’t be posted, so they are pickup only, and damaged packs can’t be listed at all.
- Privacy by default. Buyers message you through EbikeMate. Your number stays private, and location data is removed from every photo.
