A badge that tells buyers a person has checked the bike is what the ad says it is — and that it belongs to the seller.

What we check

  • The frame serial in the ad matches a Bike Passport registered to the seller.
  • The serial isn’t reported stolen or lost in EbikeMate records.
  • The photos are of this bike — including a clear photo of the frame serial.
  • The make, model and year match the photos and the passport.

We don’t inspect the bike in person or test the battery, and verification isn’t a guarantee of condition. For a hands-on check, look for “Inspected” listings or ask a shop for a Health Certificate.

Price

$9.95 once per listing, incl. GST. If we can’t verify it, we refund you in full. Shops on Pro can verify stock the same way.
