Highlights

• Panoramic views of the hills and ranges around Alice Springs
• Creeks, River Red Gum woodland, Mulga and Witchetty Bush groves, with interpretive signs along the way
• Ends at Simpsons Gap σε Tjoritja / West MacDonnell National Park. Early morning or late afternoon gives the best light and wildlife (lizards, birds)

Before you go

• 17 km one way. The tourism site calls it a full-day ride from town
• Best months April to October. October to April can exceed 40°C, so check BOM heatwave warnings
• Carry plenty of water. Water at Simpsons Gap must be boiled before drinking. Toilets, gas BBQ and picnic area at the Gap
• NT Parks Visitor Pass required (e.g. adult 1-day $10). No swimming
