Put your Bike Passport on the bike.
A tough QR label for the frame, plus two small hidden ones. Anyone who scans it can check the bike 或 tell you they found it — without ever seeing your name，email or phone.

How a Bike ID Label works
Each label carries a QR code and its own label code (like EL-7K4M-2QP9). When you scan it the first time, you link it to your Bike Passport. From then on, the label points to your bike’s record — and nothing on it identifies you.
Where to put them
- One you can see — on a clean，flat part of the frame, like the seat tube or top tube. It tells a would-be buyer or thief the bike is registered.
- One hidden — under the bottom bracket，inside a mudguard or under the saddle. If the visible one is removed, this one still identifies the bike.
- One on the battery — so a battery that’s taken off the bike can be traced back to it.
Clean the spot with a little alcohol, let it dry, press firmly for 30 seconds, and give it a day before riding（rain.）
What someone sees when they scan it
- The bike’s make, model and colour, and whether it’s reported stolen or lost.
- Check this bike — compare the serial on the frame with the record.
- I found this bike — send you a message without seeing your name，email or phone.
- Never your name, address, email, phone or the full serial.
Private messaging
A finder’s message reaches you by email through EbikeMate. You reply through a private link; your address isn’t shown unless you decide to share it. Every finder contact is recorded（your bike’s private history.）
Tamper-evident
The labels are being made from destructible vinyl that breaks into pieces if someone tries to peel it off, so it can’t be moved to another bike（one piece. It deters resale — it can’t stop a determined thief, and it isn’t a tracker.）
Lost or damaged a label?
Cancel it from your bike’s page — anyone who scans it then sees it’s no longer valid — and link a spare. Your bike’s EbikeMate ID never changes.
Buying from a shop?
Participating shops can stick a label on your new bike and link it at the counter when they register the sale, so it’s protected before you ride away.
