Which Merida e-bikes are road legal?
Going by published specs: eBig.Nine 400, eBIG.TOUR 675 EQ, eFloat City 400 EQ, eOne-Forty 400, eOne-Sixty 400 and eOne-Sixty 675 (and 4 more). Check the label on the bike you buy — some models are sold(more than one power version.)
Can I ride a Merida e-bike(Queensland?)
Yes, if it’s rated at 250 W or less, stops assisting at 25 km/h and any throttle cuts out by 6 km/h. From 1 March 2027 Queensland also requires an EN 15194 or Legacy EPAC compliance label on every e-bike.
