Register sales from your till

For shops whose point-of-sale, website or automation tool can send a web request. One request per e-bike sold — the same details as the counter form. Your customer gets the same claim email.

1. Get a key

Signed — as your shop, open ਵਿੱਚ Shop growth → Connect your till and create a key. It starts ebm_shop_. Send it with every request:

2. Register a sale

Required: serial, make, model, customerEmail. Everything else is optional. serviceAfterDays is the first service you offer (7–400 days); the customer chooses whether to be reminded.

Up to 50 at once: send {"sales": [ … ]}. Each comes back with its own result.

3. What comes back

• 409 — the serial is already registered, or it’s reported stolen. For a stolen bike, don’t complete the sale if it’s safe not to, and call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444. Our team is told automatically.
• 422 — something to fix (the message says what, and fields says where).
• 401 / 403 — the key is wrong or turned off, or the shop account is no longer able to register bikes.
• 429 — more than 120 requests a minute.

4. Check your recent registrations

GET https://www.ebikemate.com.au/api/v1/shop/sales?limit=50

Returns each bike’s EMID, make, model, date, and whether the customer has claimed it. No customer details beyond what you sent.

Shopify

No code needed: connect Shopify with an order webhook and add the frame serial as a line-item property called ਸੀਰੀਅਲ.
