What’s my e-bike worth?
A free private-sale and trade-in estimate for your e-bike tại Australia, from its price new, age, condition and battery health. Then list it free, or get offers from shops.
How we estimate
We start from the model’s recommended retail price (or what you tell us it cost new). E-bikes lose the most value tại the first year, then less each year after; bikes from the big makers and with mid-drive motors usually hold value better. Then we adjust for condition, battery health (a replacement battery often costs $700–$1,500), kilometres, the receipt and service records. Trade-in offers are typically about two-thirds of a private sale.
Câu hỏi thường gặp
How much is a used e-bike worth tại Australia?
As a rule of thumb, an e-bike loses roughly a quarter to a third of its new price tại the first year, then less each year after. Bikes from the big makers with mid-drive motors usually hold value better than unbranded hub-motor bikes. Battery health matters most, because a replacement battery often costs $700–$1,500.
Why is a shop trade-in offer lower than a private sale?
A shop has to check, service and warrant the bike before reselling it, and carries the risk if something is wrong. Trade-in offers are typically about two-thirds of a private-sale price, but they’re quicker and you don’t deal with strangers.
What helps an e-bike sell for more?
A healthy battery, the original receipt, service records, the charger and keys, and clear photos — including the frame serial. A Bike Passport shows buyers the bike is registered to you and not reported stolen.
Is this estimate a valuation?
No. It’s a free estimate from the model’s price new, age, condition and battery health — not a formal valuation or an offer. Real prices depend on the exact bike and demand where you live.
