Brisbane City Council describes the V1 as a dedicated bikeway for bikes and e-mobility devices. No other path-specific rule found. Queensland rules apply: 250 W motor, assistance to 25 km/h, 12 km/h on footpaths, 12 km/h when passing pedestrians on shared paths (otherwise the signed limit), give way to pedestrians, and wear a helmet. Since 31 August 2026 riders must be 16 or older with at least a learner licence — urban paths like this one are not covered by the recreational-area exemption.
