A badge that tells buyers a person has checked the bike is what the ad says it is — and that it belongs to the seller.
What we check
- The frame serial sa the ad matches a Bike Passport registered to the seller.
- The serial isn’t reported stolen or lost sa EbikeMate records.
- The photos are of this bike — including a clear photo of the frame serial.
- The make, model and year match the photos and the passport.
We don’t inspect the bike sa person or test the battery, and verification isn’t a guarantee of condition. For a hands-on check, look for “Inspected” listings or ask a shop for a Health Certificate.
