Real-world e-bike range calculator

Brochure range assumes perfect conditions. Tell us how you actually ride and we’ll give you a realistic band — and show what affects it most.

Estimated range

39–58 km

Most likely around 49 km on a full charge, using about 17 Wh per km from roughly 828 Wh of usable battery.

What’s making the biggest difference

  • Tyres-20%
  • Terrain-17%
  • Motor type-9%
  • Rider and cargo weight-3%

An estimate, not a promise: real range varies with stops and starts, tyre pressure, battery age and how much you pedal. The ±20% band covers normal day-to-day variation.

How we estimate

We start from about 10 Wh per km for a 75 kg load on flat ground at 20 km/h in a medium assistance mode, then adjust for each factor. Cold weather reduces the energy a lithium-ion battery can deliver; we keep 5% in reserve. These are typical figures from how e-bikes behave, not a specific maker’s data — for your model, the maker’s own range tool may be more precise.

Your postcode decides which Australian pickup listings you can see. Local batteries show only to buyers near the seller; reviewed overseas-held items show their origin and delivery terms separately. Some items are not shown in every state.
