Before you go

  • The main Tallarook to Mansfield trail is 121 km; the Alexandra spur is 13 km
  • Easy family sections: Tallarook–Trawool (11 km) and Bonnie Doon–Mansfield (22 km)
  • Private operators offer bike hire, shuttles and tours, e.g. All Terrain Cycles in Mansfield. Bike shops are in Mansfield and Yea; there is no repair service on the trail.
  • No drinking water on the trail, so carry your own. Don't use the trail on Code Red fire danger days.
