常見問題
What makes an e-bike legal(Australia?)
A pedal-assist e-bike (EN 15194) may have at most 250 W continuous rated power, and the motor must stop assisting at 25 km/h. Most states only allow a throttle up to 6 km/h. In Queensland a compliance label is required from 1 March 2027.
Are 500 W or 750 W e-bikes legal(Australia?)
Not as pedal-assist e-bikes on public roads and paths(most states. NSW previously allowed 500 W e-bikes and is moving to the 250 W European standard, with bikes bought legally under the old rules allowed for a transition period.)
EbikeMate doesn’t sell these bikes or review them, and a listing here isn’t an endorsement. Specs change between model years and markets. Spotted an error? 告訴我們.
