Taking your e-bike on public transport

  • Trains: off-peak, bikes on all trains space permitting. In peak (weekdays 7–9am towards the city, 4.30–6.30pm away from it) only in the non-peak direction unless folded and bagged — and no bikes into Perth, Perth Underground or Elizabeth Quay stations at peak.
  • Buses: folded and bagged bikes only (max 120 × 68 × 40 cm). Ferries: yes, while the four racks have space.

Main bikeways and paths

  • Swan River Loop.

Secure bike parking

  • Secure bike shelters at 61 train stations and Mirrabooka Bus Station, opened with a registered SmartRider.
